About Me
I am a human factors /UX research professional currently doing work for the VA. I have masters degrees in Human-Computer Interaction (Georgia Tech) and Biomedical Informatics (OHSU).
My roots are in Pembroke, NC, home of the Lumbee tribe, as well as Chihuahua, Mexico. I love traveling internationally and have been to 35 countries, most recently Ecuador. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the local cultural scene by going to plays and concerts. I volunteer regularly at various area theaters and have even been in a few productions myself including "On the Town" and "The Little Mermaid". I also love to read and generally make note of what I'm reading on Good Reads. The causes I am most involved with are neurodiversity and mental health online activism.
